The Executive Director of RevolutionPlus Properties, Tolulope Onalaja, has said the government needs the private sector to help solve the housing challenge in Nigeria.
She made this submission while speaking to journalists after the opening of the company’s Abuja office, which will cover the Northern region, on Friday.

She said with the opening of its regional office in Abuja, the company is more positioned to help solve the housing challenge in the country, especially amongst the low and middle classes.
“The private sector runs the economy, let’s be sincere.
“The more developers we have, the more houses we will have for the masses as the population is increasing every day”, she said.
Onalaja added that the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) is helping the government to provide housing to the masses, adding that the body is building a 1000 units estate for the masses in Lagos.
She pointed out that RevolutionPlus Properties, on its part, is providing housing for the middle and low classes in the society.
Onalaja said the company is aiming “to address the housing problem in the north by providing affordable houses and properties to low-income earners.”
She said subscribers can get a plot of land by paying N50,000 per month over 48-months.
“We are trying to change our business strategy in Abuja. The main purpose is to bring succour to our customers.
