Almost four months after Dr. Samuel Adejare Adejuwon retired from the Ministry of Environment as the Director & Designated National Authourity, Department of Climate Change (DCC), Federal Ministry of Environment his details are still on the official website of the department as the substantive director.
On the department website, the welcome note has Adejuwon as the director.
Adejuwon, a climatologist, served as one of Nigeria’s most experienced negotiators at the global climate change arena. He made attempt to have his services extended by the ministry after his retirement but that proved abortive.
