What’s our fate this season?

Christmas is almost here. It is here and people will start making plans to travel. But the roads that I see are not preparing to accommodate those hoping to go to their hometown for Christmas. The roads are in deplorable states and the government, either federal or state, are not doing anything to make the journey smooth for motorists. Not everyone has the money to book flights. And some people who want to book flights to Owerri cannot because the airport is closed for one reason or the other. What is to be our fate and those of other travellers this festive period? How do we get home if the roads are bad? The government should please do something about this as soon as possible.
