‘What I’ll do differently as 32-yr-old federal lawmaker’

The newly elected 32-year-old House of Representatives member from Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency, Taraba State, Tafida Sadiq Abbas, has said he will prioritise the ‘developmental agenda’ over handouts to the people of his constituency.

Abbas, who is one of the sons of the Emir of Muri in Taraba State, Abbas Njiddah Tafida, made the assertion after receiving his Certificate of Return (CoR) at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja.

The lawmaker, who is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), promised not to let his constituency down, but to give them quality representation in the National Assembly.
