We’re worried about insecurity – Kaduna cleric

The Minister in charge of Salvation Baptist Church, Unguwan Yelwa in Television area of Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Rev Solomon Tafida, has expressed concern over the level of insecurity in the country and Kaduna in particular and has called on the federal and state governments and security agencies to flush out bandits hiding in forests.

Rev Tafida who spoke with journalists in Kaduna, said any right-thinking person in Nigeria must be worried about the security situation.

He said, “We are all affected, it doesn’t matter whether you’re a Christian or a Muslim. We are all in the boat and it may capsize. I am burdened by what is happening, and most of our challenges are not far away from us, we are in a siege and our enemies are at our backyards.

He further said, “This has been going on in churches in the villages and the cities and no one seems to be talking. We cannot keep quiet.”
