The gubernatorial candidate of Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Bauchi State, Alhaji Umar AG Aliyu, has dispelled claims of a possible merger with the candidate of a political party in the state.
Aliyu who disclosed this on Monday to journalists in Bauchi expressed optimism of winning the election.

Aliyu confirmed that some political parties had been approaching his party about a possible merger, saying that the feedback they were getting after state-wide campaigns had been encouraging and gave them a signal of winning the election.
