The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao, has said the Nigerian Air Force will work with the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, as quickly as possible to sustain the security of the life and property of the people of the State.
He said this in Abuja on Monday while receiving the governor on a courtesy visit.

“We know the challenges we’re facing at the moment, but let me assure you that Mr President has given us his mandate to clear bandits wherever they’re in this country.
“So, let me assure you, Sir, that we’re ready to root out bandits unless they decide to leave the Nigerian soil,” the CAS said.
Earlier, the governor had said he visited the CAS to personally condole with him, the NAF and the entire military over the death of the former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen Ibrahim Attahiru and other officers in a military plane crash in Kaduna in May.
Bello lauded Amao for his efforts on air operations against Boko Haram insurgents and bandits in the troubled regions.
He noted that without major cooperation of the NAF, the successes against insecurity would remain minimal, saying the air operations were yielding results.
