We’ll support your presidential ambition, Alaafin, Olubadan-designate assure Tinubu

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and the Olubadan designate, Oba Lekan Balogun, yesterday assured the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and presidential aspirant on the platform of the party, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, that they will support his 2023 presidential ambition. 

Daily Trust reports that the duo of Alaafin and Tinubu held a closed-door meeting the outcome of which was not made known to the media.

Earlier, Alaafin who spoke in parables prayed for Tinubu, saying he was confident that the Yoruba ancestors would make him president in 2023.

The Olubadan designate said, “The road may be rough but by His grace, you will triumph.”

Speaking at the Ibadan residence of the Olubadan-designate, Tinubu said, “No amount of intimidation can stop me. I am ready to get dirty. I am out to become President of Nigeria. We are at a crossroad.”
