The Plateau State chapter of the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) on Sunday said it would use all constitutional means to protect the rights of Muslims in the state.
Sadiq Abubakar Yusuf, the state chairman of the rights group, said this during the inauguration of the state chapter in Jos.
The chairman said the group has observed many infringements of Muslims’ rights in the state.
Barrister Sani Abdul-Aziz, a guest lecturer at the event, called on Muslims not to always give up when their rights were infringed or when they were cheated, adding that they should seek redress in court.
