We’ll run Benue like a nation -APGA gov’ship candidate

The governorship candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Benue State, John Aondohemba Tseayo, has said that when elected into office, his administration  will “lock Benue and run it like a nation.”
Tseayo made the remark during a meeting held by the party in Makurdi to fine tune arrangements for the forthcoming general elections.
He noted that the voting pattern in the coming election would have nothing to do with parties but personalities of candidates involved, stressing that in the first year of his administration if voted into power, would be used to generate at least a billion dollar through three key agricultural crops; soybean, sesame and cassava which are produced in large quantities in the state.
“We will lock down Benue State and run it like a nation. We will take advantage of our potentials in agriculture to produce a generation of millionaires so that by the time we are leaving office, we would have produced at least 3000 millionaires.
“Our government will support the production of soybeans, sesame and cassava. We know that Benue people are industrious and hard working and by establishing produce marketing board, we would have saved our farmers the pains of having to take their produce to the markets as it will be the responsibility of the produce marketing board to buy.
“And because we will be buying, it will also help to control price. That way, our people will have value for their harvest,” he said.
