The All Progressives Congress (APC) North West Zonal Chairman, Honourable Datti Garba Muhammad, has announced the party’s intent to challenge the Zamfara tribunal verdict in the appeal court.
According to him, the party will ensure its reclaim the mandate of the people at the appeal court.
Datti expressed satisfaction with the Kano governorship judgment at the tribunal, emphasizing that it demonstrates that the court is the final recourse for justice for ordinary citizens.
Speaking to newsmen after a meeting with the State Chairmen of the party from the zone held in Kaduna, Datti stated that the party remains popular in the zone.

On the reports of division among party chieftains in Kaduna over the replacement of ministerial nominee, the Zonal Chairman refuted the reports saying the party in the state remains united and dismissed claims of division as mere speculation.
Datti underscored that the ministerial issue in Kaduna as straightforward, saying the former nominee had nominated a replacement.
He emphasized that there is nothing like division on the issue within the state, adding that the party is working as a united team.
The chairman commended the governor’s performance within North West zone during their first 100 days in office and disclosed plans for a familiarization tour of some states.
He further praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his efforts to attract foreign investment to Nigeria.
