We’ll never change our support for Nigeria – Ethiopian Airlines

Africa’s largest aviation group, Ethiopian Airlines was at the weekend awarded the Best International Airline in Nigeria for the year 2022 by the National Association of Nigerian Travel Agents (NANTA) at its Abuja Zone’s end-of-year party held in Abuja with the airline promising to always remain with Nigeria in good and bad times.

 The Country Manager for Ethiopian Airlines in Nigeria, Wondwossen Beyene said, “We are very happy that the biggest travel association in Nigeria NANTA has recognised our commitments to serve the people of Nigeria and our contribution to the travel stakeholders in the industry.

“ET has always been together with the public in times of good and bad and will continue to do so in the future as well. Ethiopian Airlines has never changed its support for Nigeria and Nigerians.”

The award was in recognition of Ethiopian Airlines’ contribution to the travel business in Nigeria.

According to NANTA, ET had demonstrated steadfast support for the Nigerian Travel Industry”

NANTA is the biggest travel association in Nigeria. The award was received by the Traffic and Sales Manager for Abuja, Senait Ataklet.

Ethiopian Airlines operates to four destinations in Nigeria including Lagos, Abuja, Enugu and Kano.

Ethiopian Airlines has been flying to Nigeria since 1960 and is today one of the biggest airlines operating in Nigeria.

It is to be remembered that Ethiopian was the only international airline that flew to Kaduna when Abuja airport was closed.

The airline was also recently announced as the technical partner for the proposed national carrier, Nigeria Air, with a 49 per cent stake in the airline.
