We’ll flush illegal occupants out of Ogun forests – Commissioner

The Commissioner for Forestry in Ogun State, Tunji Akinosi, has vowed that the government will flush criminals and illegal occupants out of its forest reserves.

Akinosi, while fielding questions from newsmen in Abeokuta, the state capital, said the government had written letters to traditional rulers in the areas asking them to tell illegal occupants to leave or be arrested.

He said government officials would comb its forest reserves to arrest and prosecute illegal occupants.
