Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, Wednesday said his administration would actively engage the traditional rulers in policy-making and implementation, especially on security matters.
The governor spoke at a meeting with the state’s Council of Traditional Rulers, led by the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Nuhu Bamalli, in Kaduna yesterday.
He reiterated that the security of lives and property remained his administration’s priority.
He said the traditional institution is vital to the success of any administration, serving as a stabilising force at the grassroots level.
