Adesina said, “Revisionists would want to look at security challenges, which are being robustly tackled, alone, but we look at the entire gamut and honest and fair Nigerians will admit that a lot has been done, and a lot more will still be done in the 12 months ahead.”
The presidential spokesman highlighted the strides in infrastructural development such as roads, bridges, rail, air and seaports, housing, oil and gas reforms, digital economy, mines and steel development, agriculture, education, health, creative industry, and sports, among others.
According to him, the Buhari administration represents service to the people, and nothing else, adding that with legislative reform, the current administration has created the biggest and most ambitious
federal infrastructure programme the country has ever since Nigeria’s Independence.
Adesina listed some of the achievements of the Buhari administration, which include the Lagos Ibadan Expressway, the Second Niger Bridge, the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Expressway, the ongoing revamp of Port Harcourt–Maiduguri Narrow Gauge Rail, and the establishment of a new Transportation University in Daura, Katsina State.
He said others are the establishment of a new Rail Wagon Assembly Plant in Kajola, Ogun State, the planned rollout of 5G in the country, the ongoing construction of a Tier-4 Data Center in Kano, to join existing infrastructure in Abuja (Tier-3 Data Center) and Enugu, among others.
