We won’t tolerate second round of #EndSARS protest, says Ogun CP

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Edward Ajogun says no reasonable Nigerian would revisit the #EndSARS protest following wanton carnage that greeted the nationwide protest before it was suspended.

Ajogun while speaking through the Command Spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, warned against what he termed EndSARS Phase II, stressing that the command would not tolerate the second round of the protest in the state.

His position followed the reported plans to resume protest against police brutality

He said, “except for those who see trouble making as a lucrative business, no reasonable person after the massive destruction of properties and loss of lives occasioned by the recent #EndSARS protest would again be contemplating another violent protest so soon”.

He, however, urged members of the public and youths not to allow themselves to be used for any act capable of undermining the peace of the state “as such will be viewed with all seriousness.”
