Chairman of the South West Governors Forum and Governor of Ondo State, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has said that all Nigerian governors must unite to fight criminality for the country to move forward.
Governor Akeredolu, who said this on Tuesday at the venue of the inauguration lecture stressed that the governors in the western region would fight criminality with every legal means.

He also dismissed the views held by some Northern governors and leaders that Amotekun was established to tackle ethnic nationality or business, adding that “what we have set out to do in the South Western States is not targeted at any ethnic nationality or business.
Meanwhile, Governor Akeredolu has declared today, Wednesday, February 24 as a work-free day for workers in the state.
The decision according to the state government is to allow civil servants to celebrate the inauguration of the governor for a second term in office.
