Malam Sa’idu Dahiru, the father of a little girl, Aisha Sa’idu, who was allegedly kidnapped and slaughtered by her cousin, has said they went through hell when the girl was kidnapped and an N8 million ransom demanded.
He alleged that the suspect, Abdulaziz Idris, who was arrested in Makarfi LGA of Kaduna State, kidnapped the girl, killed and buried her four weeks after her disappearance from home.
The father further said that the suspect confessed to the police that he slaughtered the girl with a razor blade when he realised that she recognised him.
Malam Sa’idu added that on the day she was kidnapped, Abdulaziz’s second wife gave birth to a boy who he named Sa’id.

On her part, the late Aisha’s mother, Malama Maijidda Sa’idu, said they were confused when the incident happened, adding that anytime her father was away, she would pray to God to protect him, give him success and return him safely.
