According to him, IPMAN members have agreed to increase its consolidated levy of N100, 000 by 20 per cent, thereby bringing it N120, 000 annually.

“We called this meeting to discuss government calls to increase our levy. After a thorough discussion, the general house agreed that we should increase by 20 per cent, which is from the original N100, 000 to N120, 000.

“The economy is tough and it is affecting everybody and on the strength of general agreement, we will meet the government for negotiation. The government had invited us and we have been discussing with them, but no agreement because I cannot do anything without the members’ approval,” he said.

According to Anyaso, the IPMAN was committed to making Anambra State better but the government has considered their plights in the sector.
