The Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Barr. Sunday Marshall Katung, has attracted a $6million agricultural investment from an American Group to Southern Kaduna.

The Senator disclosed this in Kafanchan during the 2024 National Agricultural Day Celebration organised by the National Association of Agricultural Students, Kaduna State University, Kafanchan Chapter.

Senator Katung explained that the investors will train people on the use of Artificial intelligence (AI) technology to farm.

While commending President Bola Tinubu, the Nigerian Army and other security agencies for securing most troubled communities in Southern Kaduna, the Senator urged investors to come to the region that is now ready and secured for their businesses.

He emphasized the need for his constituents to prepare themselves for the great revolution that is coming to agricultural farming.

Senator Katung however thanked the federal government for the release of N1.6bn to ginger farmers who suffered last year’s ginger disease, pointing out that though it was not what was hoped for, but it is still tremendous support, even as he assured of his office’s readiness to work with the state government to ensure that everyone who deserves this support gets it in the end.
