Speaking with newsmen on the two years anniversary of his administration, he appealed to citizens of the state to join hands with his administration in the bid to lead the state towards economic, political, social and infrastructural prosperity.

Sambo added that from the inception of his administration to date, he had left no stone unturned to ensure that he matched words with action in the provision of social services.

“We might not be the best judges of our performances these past two years, but our efforts at ameliorating the hardship encountered by our people must be noted and appreciated. Generally, we have laid out good and futuristic plans that will restore the good old days of leadership with vision. We have strived hard to address those lingering problems that have bedevilled the society which hitherto requires pragmatic steps leading to a lasting solution.

“To be able to serve you better without recourse to natural encumbrances and financial hamstringing, we employed the improvement of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) and applied to the various international donor agencies for assistance towards our drive for infrastructural as well as socio-economic enhancement of the state. Our poverty alleviation drive has witnessed tremendous results.

Describing energy as the bane of industrial growth and economic prosperity, he said his administration is working round the clock to  resuscitate all the  ailing industries in the state  for the benefit of the citizenry.
