Bauchi State Government says that it is committed to the security and welfare of corp members deployed to the state. 

Governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar stated this Wednesday at the Closing Ceremony of the 2018 Batch A orientation course held at NYSC orientation camp Wailo. 

The governor who was represented by the State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Pharmacist Ibrahim Madaki Saleh assured that the state government will provide new facilities and upgrade the existing ones in the Camp for effective implementation of its policies and programmes. 

He charged the Corps members to be guided by the various trainings received during the orientation course and become agents of unity and development by executing community projects beneficial to their host communities. 

Speaking, State Chairman, NYSC Governing Board and Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Pharmacist Ibrahim Madaki Sale, expressed confidence that all the corps members will discharge their responsibilities in line with the spirit of National Service. 

The Commissioner who was represented by Hajiya Hauwa Idris, therefore challenged them to be exemplary conduct and remain focused on National development.

Speaking earlier, the State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Afolayan James disclosed that all the corps members have exhibited sense of maturity adding that most of them are being posted to rural areas. 

He reminded the state government on the need to reconnect the camp to the National grid.
