Afrobeat singer, Ahmed Ololade also known as Asake, has collaborated with Nigerian singer and Grammy award winner, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, for the remix of his hit, ‘Sungba’. The song is an amazing hit from his Extended Play titled, Ololade.

Nigerian singer, GodsFavour Ugochinyere Chidozie, also known as Fave, has dropped this beautiful song titled Mr Man. This song which was produced by Saszy Afroshii is part of her newly released EP titled, “Riddim 5”. The EP which has 5 tracks was released in January 2022.

Nigerian singer, Daniel Benson also known as BNXN, is one who never disappoints. He has been in our ears since the beginning of the year. Although he has been featured in some hit songs this year, this record is his first single for the year 2022. ‘For Days’ is a beautiful jam that tells the tale of a guy assuring his lover that he will always be there for her.

Another lovely jam by Nigerian singer, Ekenedirichukwu Ijemba also known as Humblesmith, is Omalicha. The song which has a unique tune was released in 2022 and is about praises and thanksgiving to God for blessings and not letting him down.

South African singer and songwriter, Busiswa Gqulu popularly known as Busiswa has once again collaborated with Nigerian singer and CEO of Marlian Records, Azeez Adeshina Fashola popularly known as Naira Marley, to drop this hit called, Where you Dey go?. This is the second collaboration between both singers as they had previously dropped a smash hit titled ‘Coming’ in 2021. Where you Dey go was released in March 2022.

 

Jinja by Tekno


Another jam that you should have on your playlist is ‘Jinja’ by Augustine Miles Kelechi popularly known as Tekno. This is coming after a recent release of an addictive track titled, Mufasa, making it the second album within a month. Jinja which was released in March 2022, is a love song where the lover hails his woman for giving him Jinja (ginger or morale) and he promises to take good care of her.
