Waste disposal truck crashes into Benin furniture showrooms

Furniture items worth millions of Naira have been destroyed in an accident that happened at  Ikpoba Slope, Benin-City 

The accident which involved an articulated vehicle belonging to a waste manager to Edo State Waste Management Board was said to have veered off the road and ran into four furniture showrooms and a building materials store.

A salesgirl in one of the furniture companies who sustained serious injuries, was admitted into an undisclosed hospital in Benin.

One of the furniture showroom owners, Iyoha Edoruyi, said, “The goods destroyed in my shop are in millions of naira. Nothing can be taken out. I don’t know where to start from now.”
