The Federal Government has disclosed the identities of the inmates who escaped from Owerri Custodial Centre in Imo State on Monday.
Over 1,800 inmates were said to have escaped when yet to be identified gunmen attacked the custodial centre.
The Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola had on Tuesday said the fugitives would be granted amnesty if they returned voluntarily.
While some returned on their own, others have remained on the run.
The Nigerian Correctional Service has now released details of some the escaped victims, promising to release more in the coming days.
