A gubernatorial aspirant, Aliyu Wadada, has donated cash and building materials worth N3.24m to victims of rainstorm in Doma local government area of Nasarawa State.

Wadada, who represented Keffi/Karu/Kokona federal constituency from 2003 to 2011, made the donation at the Andoma of Doma’s palace yesterday in Doma Town. Wadada who is contesting under the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) said the support for victims consists of N1 million cash, 100 bundle of zincs and 100 packets of nails totalling N3.24m.

He called on other politicians and spirited individuals to come to the aid of the people of Doma.   

Responding, Andoma of Doma, Alhaji Ahmadu Aliyu-Ogar, expressed gratitude for the gesture and commended the politician for his prompt intervention.
