Minority Leader, House of Representatives, Ndudi Elumelu, has the charged Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Delta State and running mate of the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on reconciliation.
Elumelu, in a statement, urged Okowa, as the chairman of the South-South Governors’ Forum, to use his emergence as Atiku’s running mate for the 2023 presidential poll “to immediately initiate processes that will lead to peaceful reconciliations and calming of all frayed nerves, including some leaders who may feel side-lined or scorned in the process of nominating the vice-presidential candidate.”

Ekumelu congratulated the governor on his emergence.
He said Okowa had again brought honour and pride to Delta State “where you have demonstrated uncommon commitment as evinced in your unprecedented achievements in all sectors.”
