Vom college introduces Science Lab Tech

The Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAHPT) in Vom, Plateau State, has introduced Science Laboratory Technology Program.

The Provost of the college, Professor Garba Hamidu Sharubutu, told journalists yesterday that the program had been accredited and would start by May. 

Sharubutu who is also the President of the Veterinary Council of Nigeria, said the college had all the necessary equipment and staff strength, and  that the program would provide students with the skills and techniques for standard science laboratory work.

“The program would enable the students to explore a variety of laboratory testing techniques and prepare the graduates for employment in chemical, biological, and associated science laboratories,” he said.
