African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) President Dr Amr Elwani has given a pass mark to Nigeria Volleyball Federation for its giant strides in developing the game in Nigeria.

Elwani stated this while presenting African Volleyball activity report in front of the FIVB Congress meeting in Cancun, Mexico.

Elwani showed the African development towards the international performance and the great improvement in the African participation at the Age Group Continental Championships.

He listed the countries as; Nigeria, Egypt, Cameroon and Tunisia at the Boys category while Cameroon, Egypt, Rwanda, Congo RDC and Kenya at the Girls level.

He highlighted the great performance at African Age group championships and the great honour to organise 2 World championships in 2019 in the African Soil; the Girls U18 World championship in Egypt and the Boys U19 in Tunisia.

Dr Elwani also featured the CAVB Nucleus Project in Africa.
