Police operatives in Yobe State have arrested the 65-year-old Village Head of Gazarkuma in Nangere LGA, Mohammed Bulama, aka Mai Zarma, over allegedly killing a tractor driver on a farm.
The police command’s spokesman, DSP Dungus Abdulkareem, said the suspect was arrested after he mobilised youths with knives, daggers, bows and arrows and raided a farmland belonging to one Maigari Mato (65) in Gubate village.
He said the attack resulted in the death of a tractor driver, Mohammed Kabiru (35) and grievous injuries to one Hassan Lawan.

He further said that in a similar situation, the police in Damagum arrested one Abduwahab Abubakar (40) and four others for attacking one Hussaini Lawan Sani (45) of Goba Abba village and robbing him of N250,000.
