Vigilantes have arrested a handbag snatcher while on patrol in Apo after the suspect attempted to dispossess an unsuspecting victim of her valuables.
A source who preferred anonymity confided in our reporter that the suspect was arrested on Monday at about 05:30a.m. by the group.
He further told our reporter that the suspect identified as Walewo Ali waylaid the victim, one Gloria Uchenna who was by the Apo Bridge to board a taxi to her place of work.
The suspect was reported to have confronted the victim with a knife and threatened to kill her if she refused to surrender all she had.
The source disclosed that the suspect collected her hand bag containing some cash and her handset and took to his heels.
