Operatives of the Edo State Police Command have arrested six suspects, including a vigilante, over the alleged murder of a man identified simply as Omobue, in Benin City.

The state’s Commissioner of Police (CP), Funsho Adegboye, said the DPO of Ikpoba Hill received information that Omobude had a fight with one Hassan Haladu and in the process he (Hassan) invited some members of the Edo State Security Network (ESSN), also known as vigilantes, to the scene who tied up Omobude and in the process he suffocated to death.
