[VIDEO] Rick Ross visits Nigeria, promises to sign two artistes

Popular American artiste, Rick Ross, was in Nigeria on Thursday to perform at a concert and he was treated to the real African hospitality.

The rap artiste, via stories posted on his verified Instagram page, did not only enjoy the hospitality but was also amazed by the plethora of talents that abound in the country.

So impressed was the Maybach Music boss, who left Nigeria for Angola to perform at another show, that he promised to sign two African acts to his record label in America.

In a series of posts on his Instagram stories, one of which was reposted on the handle of Nigerian indigenous rapper, CDQ, the American artiste hailed Nigerian celebrities like Harrysong, CDQ, Alex Unusual and Angela Okorie, for always supporting his brand.

In parts of the video posted, he said, “It’s the boss, Ricky Rosay. I am over here in Africa, the motherland. I just woke up here on Easter, and I just woke up, I want to share love. I want to rep, I feel like it is not enough for American artistes to shed light on Africa, supporting African artistes; so, what I wanted to do was wake up, I am going out to the city, I am going out to the slums, places the police do not want to go and I am going to show love. That is what I feel like doing.

“After being in Nigeria, the other night, I saw so many talents and so many fly artistes, so many dope performers and it is official, Maybach Music Africa. Rick Ross will be signing two artistes, better believe it from different parts of Africa. So, let’s stay in touch. Let’s build.”
