VIDEO: Moment singer Asake dashed off stage after guard’s gun went missing

Reports are making the rounds on the social media space that rave-of-the-moment artiste, Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, had to abruptly end his show in Baltimore, United States of America after he learnt that his security guard’s gun was missing at the event.

The incident occurred on Sunday night at the Patapsco Arena in Baltimore. The show is part of his Mr Money With The Vibe Tour in America. In a video going viral, the singer was seen whisked away from the stage by security personnel.

Meanwhile, the organiser, 1805 Entertainment released a statement to apologise for how the show ended abruptly, noting that it was done for the safety of everyone at the event.

The organisers said, “1805 Entertainment and Asake would like to apologise to everyone that came out to last night’s show at [Baltimore]
We deeply regret that things didn’t go as planned and we are truly sorry for all confusion and inconvenience.

“We had the greatest of intentions to bring you an amazing show, but there were factors tonight that simply fell beyond our control.
The safety and security of everyone in attendance was our number one concern.

“Both 1805 and Asake share nothing but love and respect for all of his supporters. We will do everything we can to make it right, and we hope to have the opportunity to share another experience with you soon.”
