Association of Local Government Vice-Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC) will deliberate on insecurity in the country at its 2021 Annual National Conference on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.
The conference with the theme: Improving Grassroots Leadership as a Panacea for Insecurity, Peace and National Development in Nigeria will be chaired by Senator Ibrahim Shekarau.

A statement by ALGOVC National Chairman, Hon. Lawrence Onuchukwu, the vice chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), indicated that the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum and his Sokoto State counterpart, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal will be honoured at the conference.
