Social media influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, will today appear before the House of Representatives, regarding bribery allegations against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
VeryDarkMan had released an audio where crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, purportedly claimed he bribed officials of the EFCC with N15 million in exchange for dropping money laundering charges against him.
In the audio, Bobrisky also claimed he avoided serving his six-month jail sentence at Kirikiri Prison in Lagos.
Following this, the House of Representatives summoned VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky, and EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukoyede.

VeryDarkMan’s legal representative, Deji Adeyanju, in a post via X on Sunday, confirmed that his client will appear before the National Assembly Investigative Panel on Monday.
“We will be at the National Assembly tomorrow with our client @thatverydarkman to assist in investigations into allegations by Bobrisky that he/she paid N15m to have money laundering charges dropped by EFCC and also bribed prison officials to stay in an apartment,” Adeyanju wrote.
Meanwhile, earlier on Sunday, Bobrisky’s legal team issued a legal notice accusing VeryDarkMan of releasing an AI-generated audio aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
Responding, VeryDarkMan threatened to countersue Bobrisky for N1,000,000,020, humorously adding N20 as a personal gain.
