The Vice Chancellor of Fountain University, Osogbo, Osun State, Prof. Amidu Olalekan Sanni, has urged the students of the institution to be security conscious and shun unauthorized outings.
He gave this advice yesterday while addressing the students on the campus during the 14th matriculation ceremony of the university for the 2020/2021 academic session.

He said the security situation in the country was worrisome and advised the students to be vigilant at all the time and report to officials immediately if they perceive suspicious movement around.
A total of 451 newly admitted students took the matriculation oath. The VC urged the students to be of good behaviour and shun cultism and other social vices.
He said the university had added two new colleges, including the College of Law and College of Basic Medical and Health Sciences.
