The Gombe State University (GSU) has pegged its cut off point at 160 as the minimum requirement for admission into the institution.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Registrar of the university, Mohammed Abdullahi Yuguda on Tuesday.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had last month fixed 120 as the minimum cut-off point for university admission.
But the GSU said only candidates who applied to it as their First Choice and scored 160 point and above and candidates who applied through Direct Entry and selected the university as first choice were qualified to sit for the aptitude test slated for September 16.
