Varsity offers 25 indigent students N3.1m insurance scheme

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Ekiti State, has approved special insurance package of N3, 125,000 at N125,000 each for 25 of its students who have struggled to continue with their education after the death of their parents or guardians, extreme poverty and incapacitation due to accidents or other health hazards.

The scheme, approved by  the Vice Chancellor, Prof.  Abayomi Fasina, would take care of the students’ tuition and other benefits covered by the insurance.
