Varsity gets donation of books worth N2.5m

Plateau State University (PLASU) in Bokkos has received donation of different academic books worth N2.5 million from Brooks Consolidated Investment Limited (BCIL) to enhance teaching and learning.

Presenting the books to PLASU Vice Chancellor, Professor YohannaIzam, BCL Managing Director, Sunday Jesmiel, said that the gesture was part of the company’s effort to uplift the standard of education in the nation as part of its corporate social responsibility. 100 different titles of books were donated.

Professor Izam, who received the books in company of some management staff of the university, thanked BCL for its positive contribution to the development of the institution.
