The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Sen. Hope Uzodinma of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of last Saturday national assembly election for Owerri West of Imo state.
According to the INEC returning officer Prof. Charles Eze who announced the results, Uzodinma polled 154, 605 votes while the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate Sen. Rosita Izunaso scored 70,843 votes. The All Progressive Grand Allaiance (APGA) candidate scored 27, 753 votes.
