A lawyer and Islamic scholar, Barrister Muhammad Rabiu Uthman has called on Muslims to always use their religious iman as the basis of protecting and not harming humanity.
Barrister Uthman made the call as Guest Speaker at the 2019 Majlis Khuddam-Ul-Ahmadiyya, Nigeria, held in Lagos by the youth wing of the Islamic group. He spoke on the topic: “Islam and Humanity.”
According to him, Allah has not left the Muslim umah without a guidance and as such Muslims must be cautious how they go about practising their faith without being injurious to others in a way that lead to loss of lives and destruction of properties.
He added that Islam messages are timeless and the principle of application is universal. He cited several Quranic injunctions that buttress the need to be accommodating of others with different faith.
