Use national call line on HIV/AIDS-NACA

The Director-General, National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) Prof. John Idoko, has advised Nigerians to utilize the national call line number 6222  for HIV/AIDS and other related diseases.
He made the call at the weekend during an outreach organized by the agency in Abuja  tagged the “National Call Centre Demand  Creation Outreach.”
Represented by Mr Emmanuel Chenge, the NACA Director of  Administration, he said the agency since inception had been carrying out advocacy in communities but that there was no way it could reach every person in all communities of the country with  a population of over 170m people and the over 3.5m people living with HIV/AIDS. Idoko said it was as a result of this that the agency in collaboration with other partners  set up a call centre with the number 6222 as the national call number for HIV/AIDS and other related diseases.
