Hardworking US Monastir midfielder, Moses Orkuma, has joined teammate and compatriot Anthony Okpotu in Qatar after they made history with the modest Tunisian club.
US Monastir have bid farewell to both player after Orkuma agreed a move to Qatari side Umm Salal just days after Okpotu finalised his move to Qatar Sports Club.
Former Flying Eagles star Orkuma is a versatile midfielder, who has played most of his career overseas in Libya and Tunisia.
He started out in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, with Lobi Stars of Makurdi from where he had a stint in Libya before moving to Tunisia.
Orkuma was also a member of the Flying Eagles squad to the 2013 FIFA World Cup in Turkey.
He is expected to bring his experience on Umm Salal, who are currently bottom of the league standings in Qatar with a point after three rounds of matches.
These transfers are deserved rewards for the Nigeria stars after they helped USM to win the Tunisia Cup for the first time in their history and finish a commendable third in the league.
