Governor Nasirul El-Rufai of Kaduna State and his Borno counterpart, Kashim Shettima have joined the meeting of Zamfara State Governor Abdulaziz Yari with the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
Daily Trust online had an hour ago reported that Yari was in a crucial meeting with the Vice President at the State House Villa,Abuja.
With El-Rufai and Shettima, the meeting holding behind closed doors is being attended by three governors.
Our correspondent reports that the Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed joined the meeting around 3.pm.
Meanwhile some prominent Yoruba leaders under the aegis of South-West Forum has adopted the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar for the 2019 election.
At the end of the colloquium tagged, “2019: South-West Speaks”, the Yoruba leaders resolved to support the Abubakar for the 2019 Presidential election because of his promise of restructuring. The event was held at at Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos.
A prominent Yoruba leader, Dr. Remi Akitoye moved a motion for the adoption of Atiku as the South-West candidate for the 2019 election. The motion was unanimously adopted.
