The letter, which did not make mention of the alleged impregnation of the student, only said that Odum had been suspended based on an accusation of sexual harassment by a female student.

However, a source closed to the university disclosed that the lecturer got himself into trouble by impregnating a student of the university.

The source did not give additional information on the issue.

The letter reads; “following the accusation of sexual harassment made against you by a female student in the Department of Archeology and Tourism, the Vice-Chancellor has directed you to be suspended from duty immediately.”

It further reads: “You should stay away from your daily post until the final determination of the allegation against you.

“You should also handover any university property in your custody of the Head of Archaeology and Tourism.”
