Unknown men beats journalist to death in Adamawa

Maxwell Nashan, a broadcaster with Fombina FM, has been found dead in the bush on the outskirt of Vunokilan, Gerei local government area of Adamawa state.

Our reporter gathered that some women farmers found the deceased body tied down, with his mouth sealed alongside sliced cuts on his body after sustaining serious beatings by suspected unknown men.

One of his colleagues, who pleaded anonymity, said he heard about the occurrence of the incidence on Wednesday afternoon, saying they are currently working with the security agents to move his corpse to mortuary.

“He was suspected to be killed by unknown men, who took him out from his house, tied up, cut with machetes and dumped behind Fombina, his office and found by some women going to the farm this morning,” he said.
