Unity Bank partners women group on entrepreneurship development

You must not have huge amount of money before you can start business, the Head, SME Banking of Unity Bank, Mr Opeyemi Ojesina, tells women.
Ojesina stated this at the “Lagos and the Woman Conference,” held in Lagos, weekend.
Speaking on the theme: “The Place of the Women Entrepreneur,” Ojesina said: “Believe that you can start small and shelve the idea that you must have all the money or materials to take off. Existing businesses attract funding easier than yet-to-take-off ones.”
He enjoined women to shift from mere buying and selling to creating businesses that would enable them to attain their goal.
He commended the Amazing Amazons Initiative, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) under the leadership of Mercy Makinde, for initiating the “Lagos and The Woman Conference.”
He charged women to understand business they engaged in to attract support they needed from banks.
