The chairman of the governing council of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor Mvendaga Jibo, has commended the management of the university for ongoing preparations for its 32nd convocation ceremony slated for March 29 and 30.
Jibo gave the commendation after leading members of the governing council and the management team on an unscheduled facility inspection of ongoing projects in the university.
“I am particularly impressed with the level of preparation for the forthcoming convocation ceremony, and I wish congratulate all the graduands and their parents on his historic occasion,” Jibo said.
The 32nd convocation ceremony is for students who graduated in the combined 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 academic sessions.
