Union hails Fashola choice as power ministry

Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSAEAC) has hailed the appointment of Babatunde Fashola as Minister of Power, Works and Housing,saying he is the right choice to pilot the affairs of the nation’s power sector.
President of the union,Comrade Bede Opara,in a congratulatory message to the minister,said Fashola’s appointment  would add value to the power sector due to his tract records and the vigour which he carries out his stewardship.
He said:’’If there is anything amazing that happened in recent months with the assumption of office by the Buhari led administration and its crusade for change, it is your appointment as the Minister of Power, Works and Housing. We knew all along that it was going to be you. The position was truly made for you.
‘‘In view of the looming problems associated with the power sector reforms, President Muhammadu Buhari, GCON, made the right choice by appointing you to stir the ship of one of the most controversial sectors of Nigeria’s economy.
‘‘We have followed your career for years and were excited to read about your achievements. You have always impressed us with your clear vision and ability to get the job done against the most formidable opposition’’.
